Horses offer unique traits that make them the top choice for animal based therapies and can offer extraordinary amount of emotional support to improve our physical health. Combining outdoor activity with horses can be more beneficial than the standard therapy room atmosphere. Through horsemanship we can improve our self-esteem, grow emotionally and physically. The mental & physical benefits horses can provide is tremendous. Many studies show how equine activities can significantly help with emotional awareness, empathy, improving focus, relaxation, and reducing stress, just to name a few.

Our social service workers have tremendous impact on our society. They usually tackle on so many daily stressors, not to mention most of these careers are typically underpaid. When we better equip our social service workers it causes a rippled affect in producing better members of our society.
